Landsat 8 satellite images

Here are some satellite images I processed recently. These images are derived from data collected by the OLI sensor aboard the Landsat 8 satellite, launched February 2013. Landsat 8 continues the Landsat Mission which has observed the earth continuously since 1972. The full Landsat archive is available to the public at GLOVIS and EarthExplorer.

This is a false colour image of bands 753(RGB).

Another false colour image, 753(RGB).

A mosaic image - eight Landsat 8 scenes. This was processed with a decorrelation algorithm and shows DC567(RGB). The full resolution image is about 24,000 by 13,000 pixels.

A closer view of the DC567(RGB) image.
